
During the eighteenth-century Via Mazzini assumed its current aspect as access to the splendid residences of noble families. Just like the adjacent and opposite houses of the nobility, Palazzo Tusini, in front of Palazzo Vescovile (the bishop's Palace), is the result of the adaptation of pre-existing terraced buildings dating back to Medieval times.
